چکیده

The daytime and nighttime precipitation proportions of daily total (especially extreme precipitation) are important indicators that help to understand the process formation, which in turn helps evaluate improve models reanalysis data. In this study, we used Huai River Basin (HRB) as a case explore based on 135 meteorological stations during 1961–2018. total, daytime, showed zonal distributions with high low values southern northern parts basin, respectively. was slightly greater than precipitation. With increase intensity, seasonal cycles were more distinct, mainly occurred summer. annual range differences between wet seasons downward trend 1961–2003 followed by an upward 2003–2018. This reversal around 2003 may be related changes convective seasons. decrease light depended contributions events torrential those days accounted for very proportion days, but their amount relatively amount. Annual trend, caused increased Under conditions, large concentrated southeastern HRB, whereas northwestern basin. concurrent increasing trends, especially part precipitation, risk extremes basin (shorter return period means higher risk).

Evaluation of TRMM Summer Precipitation Over Huai-River Basin In China

In this study, the biases and uncertainty of TRMM 3B42 estimates are investigated over the Huai-River Basin during the summer season in 2010. TRMM products of 3B42RT, 3B42V6 and 3B42V7 are cross-compared to Chinese Precipitation Analyses Products (CPAP) as the reference. It is found that the distribution of bias is closely depend on the terrain with the dry bias locates at hills/mountains and w...

Comparison of Daily and Sub-Daily SWAT Models for Daily Streamflow Simulation in the Upper Huai River Basin of China

Despite the significant role of precipitation in the hydrological cycle, few studies have been conducted to evaluate the impacts of the temporal resolution of rainfall inputs on the performance of SWAT (soil and water assessment tool) models in large-sized river basins. In this study, both daily and hourly rainfall observations at 28 rainfall stations were used as inputs to SWAT for daily strea...

Accuracy Analysis of Precipitation Regionalization Methods Based on Spatial Interpolation Techniques in Zayandeh-Rud River Basin

In the present study, we used 27 precipitation average monthly data from synoptic, climatologic, rain-guage and evaporative stations located in Zayandeh-Rud river basin for the period of 1970-2014. Before interpolating, the missing data in the time series of each station was reconstructed by the normal ratio method. Also, for the data quality control, the Dickey-Fuller and Shapiro-Wilk tests we...

Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Dry-Wet Abrupt Transition Based on Precipitation in Poyang Lake Basin, China

The dry-wet abrupt transition (DWAT) is a typical anomaly of precipitation at the subseasonal scale and may result in a severer and greater hydro-meteorological hazard. This paper identified and examined the DWAT events in terms of precipitation in Poyang Lake basin, including both from dry to wet (DTW) and from wet to dry (WTD), during the period of 1960–2010 and analyzed its characteristics o...

Altered Precipitation and Flow Patterns in the Dunajec River Basin

This study analyzes changes in long-term patterns of precipitation and river flow, as well as changes in their variability over the most recent 60 years (1956–2015). The study area is situated in the mountain basin of the Dunajec River, encompassing streams draining the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland. The focus of the study was to evaluate how regional warming translates into precipitation ...
